Terms of Service
What SecureSonic Firewall agrees to provide, what we ask of you in return, and where the limits of the service sit.
These terms
These terms govern your use of this website and of SecureSonic Firewall services. Using the site or ordering a service means you accept them.
Where you hold a signed service agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over anything on this page if the two conflict. Descriptions on this website are general information, not a specification of your particular deployment.
SecureSonic Firewall trades at securesonicfirewall.com. Contact: support@securesonicfirewall.com, +1 (740) 924 5205.
What the service is
SecureSonic Firewall is a managed firewall and network security service. Under it, we:
- Design, author and maintain the firewall policy for your network
- Deploy, configure and operate a third-party enterprise firewall platform on your behalf
- Monitor the security events that platform produces, and triage them
- Respond to security incidents in line with the process set out for your plan
- Manage firmware and security updates, including scheduling and rollback
- Provide reporting and periodic policy review
Which technical capabilities are available to you depends on the platform deployed, its licence tier and your network architecture. The capability breakdown sets out which layer each capability comes from.
What the service is not
We would rather be plain about the limits than leave them implied:
- No firewall stops every attack. The service reduces exposure; it does not eliminate it.
- Network-level protection does not replace endpoint security software, backups, software updates on your own devices, or good password practice.
- We do not guarantee that any particular threat will be detected or blocked.
- We do not provide legal, regulatory or compliance certification of your network.
- We do not recover data lost to an incident, and we are not a backup service.
Third-party technology
The inspection and enforcement capabilities of the service are provided by a third-party enterprise firewall platform that we deploy and operate. Its behaviour, its detection coverage, its update schedule and its supported encryption standards are determined by that vendor, not by us.
SecureSonic Firewall is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or a subsidiary of SonicWall Inc. or any other security vendor referenced on this site. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Where you integrate the service with systems you already own — routers, identity providers, log platforms, endpoint agents, cloud network controls — those systems remain yours. We configure the interface between them and the firewall; we do not license, warrant or support the products themselves.
The product and version deployed for you is confirmed at onboarding and stated in your service documentation. Ask support@securesonicfirewall.com or call +1 (740) 924 5205 and we will confirm it in writing.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about the network being protected, and tell us when it changes
- Maintain your own internet connection, routing equipment and device software
- Keep administrative credentials for your own systems secure
- Tell us promptly if you believe a security incident is underway
- Where the service protects a network used by other people, tell them that traffic is inspected, and obtain whatever consent or notice the law where you operate requires
- Confirm that any TLS/SSL inspection you ask us to enable is lawful in your jurisdiction
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to break the law, to attack or scan networks you do not control, to distribute malware, or to conceal activity of that kind. You agree not to attempt to circumvent, disable or reverse engineer the protection we operate, or to resell the service unless you hold a dealer agreement with us.
We may suspend a service that is being used this way. Where we can, we will contact you first.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the service running continuously, but no service is available all of the time. Maintenance windows, vendor updates, your internet provider and your own equipment all affect availability.
Support is reached at support@securesonicfirewall.com. Response times depend on your plan and the category of request.
The availability commitment, maintenance windows and response targets for your plan are set out in your service agreement. Ask support@securesonicfirewall.com or call +1 (740) 924 5205 and we will confirm it in writing.
Changes to the service
Security services change as threats and vendor platforms change. We may add, alter or withdraw capabilities. Where a change materially reduces what you receive, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel without penalty.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email before they take effect.
Fees, billing and cancellation
Fees, billing period, notice period and refund terms are set out in your order or service agreement. Where a plan is bought through a retailer or dealer, that seller's purchase terms also apply to the transaction.
Your price, billing cycle, notice period and cancellation terms are set out in your order or service agreement. Ask support@securesonicfirewall.com or call +1 (740) 924 5205 and we will confirm it in writing.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the period stated in your agreement.
The liability cap and the period it is calculated over are set out in your service agreement. Ask support@securesonicfirewall.com or call +1 (740) 924 5205 and we will confirm it in writing.
Intellectual property
This website, its text, its artwork and the SecureSonic Firewall name and mark belong to us. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not copy the site or its artwork for commercial purposes without permission.
Third-party product names and trademarks appearing on this site belong to their owners and are used only to identify technology we operate or integrate with.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of the jurisdiction stated below, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.
The governing law and jurisdiction that apply to your service are stated in your service agreement. Ask support@securesonicfirewall.com or call +1 (740) 924 5205 and we will confirm it in writing.

These terms set out the shape of the agreement in plain language. The bracketed items need real detail, and the finished document should be reviewed by a lawyer qualified where you trade before you rely on it. It is a starting structure, not legal advice.
